Sand Barrens is a visually stunning 27 hole course in Swainton, New Jersey. Opened in 1997, many have marveled at the unique design created by the team of Dr. Michael Hurdzan and Dana Fry. Dr. Hurdzan, by the way, was named Golf Course Architect of the Year by Golf World Magazine in that same year.

As soon as it was completed, Sand Barrens quickly earned the honors of one of the Top 10 New Golf Courses in America and received a nomination as one of the Best New Upscale Course by Golf Digest. We're very proud of both!

All we can say is that when you come to the shore, many will tell you that Sand Barrens is a "must play."

FYI! The public may reserve tee times up to 10-days in advance. Soft spikes mandatory. The Sand Barrens is a pace rated golf course, our maximum time of play is 4 hours and 28 minutes!
